Dark Cave 5 Years Old Barrel Aged Tsipouro, 700mL
This aged Greek tsipouro is made at the Tsilili Distillery in Meteora in Thessaly from freshly fermented pomace of high quality grapes (Muscat and Roditis) and has been aged in French oak barrels (also used for Vinsanto wine) for at least 5 years. On the nose there are intense fruity aromas of dried fruits including raisins, prunes and bergamot peels. As well as spicy aromas like vanilla, chocolate and nutmeg with hints of walnut. This aged tsipouro has a robust but supple body, cleansing spicy and fruity flavours and a complex aromatic aftertaste.
