The ancient Greeks called it ‘ANTHOS ALATOS’ and hence the name Fleur De Sel! This all-natural, unrefined sea salt without iodine it is solar evaporated with the purest taste of sea salts and full of calcium and magnesium. This premium gourmet salt is skimmed off by hand from the salt ponds of Messolonghi, an environmentally protected area by the Ramsar Treaty.
It has a velvety flavour and moist texture and can be used as a finishing salt on fresh foods or cooking. The luxurious, clean tasting salt crystals are a connoisseur’s delight.
