About the Author
Kathy Tsaples’ parents came from the Thessaly region in Greece, from a village at the foot of Mount Olympus, said to be the home of the gods! Kathy sees cooking as a story about maintaining and adapting her Greek heritage and culinary traditions.
Born in the migrant suburb of Richmond, she grew up learning to cook traditional Greek cuisine from her mother. These recipes have been passed down from many generations. Greek food is engrained with culture and spirit.
The Hellenic cuisine evokes memories that she will cherish forever and her food is a true celebration of life!
